Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Ouroa ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit ouroa.ai or interact with our product demo. We keep it short and plain.

Information we collect

• Information you give us. When you book a demo or contact us, we collect your name, email, resort or property details, and anything you include in a message. Demo bookings are handled through our scheduling provider, Cal.com.
• Information collected automatically. Standard server logs and basic usage data (pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type) to understand and improve the site.
• The interactive demo. The demo uses a sample resort and illustrative data. Anything you type into the demo is processed only to generate a response and is not used to identify you.

How we use it

• To respond to enquiries and schedule demos.
• To operate, secure, and improve the site.
• To communicate with you about Ouroa when you have asked us to.

Consent and legal basis

We collect and use personal data with your consent (for example when you submit a demo request), or where we have a legitimate interest in operating and promoting our business, in line with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and, where it applies, the GDPR. You may withdraw your consent at any time by emailing us; we will then stop the relevant processing, though it may mean we can no longer follow up on your enquiry.

Sharing

We do not sell your information. We share it only with service providers that help us run Ouroa, such as our scheduling provider (Cal.com), hosting and infrastructure providers, and messaging tools (for example WhatsApp, if you choose to contact us there). Each is expected to protect it. We may disclose information if required by law.

Cookies

We use only the essential cookies needed for the site to function. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Retention

We keep enquiry and booking information for as long as needed to follow up and for legitimate business records, then delete or anonymise it.

Your rights and our Data Protection Officer

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to withdraw consent, or to stop contacting you. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under laws such as the PDPA or the GDPR.

International transfers

Ouroa is based in Singapore, and some of our service providers operate in other countries. Where personal data is transferred outside your jurisdiction, we take reasonable steps to ensure it receives a standard of protection comparable to that required under the PDPA and other applicable law.

Children

This site is intended for hospitality businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children through the site.

Security

We use standard measures, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date above reflects the latest version.
